Last year, we debuted the crowning jewel of Conscience Point, a private multi-purpose sport court known as Conscience Court. Conscience Court has two adjustable basketball goals, a net that can be raised or lowered for volleyball, badminton or paddle tennis and even a tot-sized basketball goal. The court is made of a material that provides cushioning for knees and legs, but is strong enough to support the various sports intended for the court. It is right next to the pool, so you can get a quick workout and jump in the pool to cool off. The Conscience Court logo is proudly displayed on the court and we have a huge bin of equipment allowing you to play all of the various sports.

Other Additions Last Year
As if Conscience Court weren't enough, other major additions to Conscience Point in 2008 were the following:
1) Two new arcade style video game consoles, one of which is a 3-in-1 combo of Ms. Pac-Man, Pac-Man and Galaga. The other is Arcade Legends 2, which has 125 classic arcade titles such as Missile Command, Asteroids, Space Invaders and Burgertime (a family favorite). Needless to say, both consoles are Brand New (not refurbished) and will keep the kids and adults busy for hours.
THE GAMEROOM!
2) We now have a widescreen HDTV in the 3rd Floor Family Room with Blu-Ray DVD player. It is FULL HD (1080p) with 42" viewing area. We have a small library of Blu-Ray movies for your viewing pleasure. Most of you by now have probably seen HD, but don't be confused - FULL HD is MUCH CLEARER than anything you've ever seen. When you put in the Blu-Ray movie, you will literally think you are watching 3-D cinema. It is that clear. Plus, we already have full surround sound, which will make your movie experience unlike anything you've experienced before.
3) Nintendo Wii has been installed and is a smash hit with renters. There are two separate game packs available at Conscience Point - a five game sports pack (Tennis, Baseball, Bowling, Golf & Boxing) & a nine game "Play" pack (Shooting Range, Table Tennis, Fishing, Billiards & 5 other games).

For those of you who have not been to Conscience Point, you will not be disappointed. Conscience Point is truly, now more than ever, a vacation within a vacation. Some have referred to it as a resort. Located just across the street from the vast Pamlico Sound and just a few hundred yards from the Atlantic Ocean, Conscience Point is ideally located to provide our guests with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Our goal has always been to give our guests a true escape from their daily lives. With the additions this year, you will be swept away in luxury and will have all the activities you can imagine at your fingertips. So, take a dip in the ocean and then return home for an afternoon siesta, a quick snack, some hoops on your own private sport court or a dip in the pool. The world is your oyster at Conscience Point.
